Purpose

Northwest Baptist Missions exists to accomplish our Lord's "Great Commission" (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) by establishing New Testament, independent, Baptist churches. We believe this is the one ultimate goal for missions endeavors — the establishment of local Bible-believing churches. This is the only permanent answer anywhere in fulfilling the Scriptural mandate. Radio ministry, children's classes, Vacation Bible Clubs, evangelistic meetings, and other legitimate outreach tools are utilized to help plant congregations in the Rocky Mountain west.

Missionary-Pastors who are approved by the executive committee of Northwest Baptist Missions, work under the direction of the Northwest Baptist Missions board until the work is established, then the work is an independent church, completely independent and autonomous. Our desire is that each church become a lighthouse in its own area, fellowshipping and working with other churches of similar faith and practice to reach this area and the entire world.
